Charles Soule and Javier Pulido deliver us a return to fantastic issues of She-Hulk with Issue #8. This time around Jennifer Walters is being set up to defend Captain America in a trail that could save or forever tarnish both their reputations. The only problem is that the prosecuting attorney is Matt Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil.

Soule is proving that he is back into a comfortable groove this issue with the ever familiar prose and pace to the story that made this series a delight. Soule delivers a lot of legal jargon in this book, more than any previous issue, but the book isn't weighed down by mumbo-jumbo and that's due to the charming nature of the character, the supporting characters and the sheer charm of the book.

This is by and far my favorite issue of the series thus far. And although the book lacks any real action sequence, it is the opening to a story arc that has the potential for a deep rich base that is full of intrigue and humor that allows the book remain enjoyable from start to finish.

Pulido's art has settled into a comfortable place. His work is a little less surreal than his previous works in the series. Once again Pulido comes through with great use of shadows as he is a huge fan of shadows.

Hooray for shadows!

If you read any of my first reviews of his work, you know this is saying a lot for me to be cheering on Pulido, but not only has he grown on me, his art has grown considerably through the run.

All in all I grade this book a solid B. Welcome back Charles Soule and Javier Pulido. Welcome home Jennifer Walters. Its nice to have you all back.

Until next time... remember she is a Hulk and you won't like her when she's angry.
